Terms of Service

To participate in cohorts and access live class links, you must create a verified CodeClimb student account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration details including your legal name and active email address.
• Safeguard your authentication credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized account activity.
• Accept responsibility for all activities occurring through your account credentials.
• Ensure you are at least 18 years old or possess documented legal guardian authorization if enrolled under 18.

Access to course repositories, Google Meet live links, whiteboard sessions, and rubric assessments is unlocked automatically upon verified tuition payment. Access is personal to the registered learner and may not be shared, rented, or transferred to third parties without prior written consent.

All transactions on CodeClimb are processed through certified, encrypted payment gateway partners (including direct Mobile Money integrations for MTN MoMo and Airtel Money, as well as Visa and Mastercard).

• Currency: Tuition fees are quoted in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) or US Dollars (USD) as displayed at checkout.
• No Hidden Surcharges: You pay the exact advertised one-time tuition. We do not operate recurring subscription auto-debits.
• Security: CodeClimb never stores, logs, or views your Mobile Money PINs, CVV codes, or bank card security numbers.

Because cohort seats are strictly capped to ensure 1-on-1 mentor code reviews, enrollment fees are generally non-refundable once classes commence.

CodeClimb is an intensive, collaborative engineering community. To preserve an environment of psychological safety and professional rigor, all learners agree to:

• Treat fellow cohort peers and mentors with courtesy and respect during live Google Meet classes.
• Refrain from uploading malicious scripts, exploits, or copyrighted code not permitted under open-source licenses.
• Never redistribute class recordings, member contact lists, or internal community discussions to third-party public forums.
• Do not engage in harassment, hate speech, or unsolicited commercial messaging in community channels.

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access to live classes and student workspaces without refund if a student engages in disruptive behavior, distributes unauthorized copies of curriculum materials, or violates these terms.

CodeClimb educational materials and mentorship are provided “as is”. While our mentors work tirelessly to deliver cutting-edge software architecture training, Ozak Technologies Limited does not guarantee specific employment offers, third-party salary numbers, or specific career promotions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ozak Technologies Limited shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

These Terms of Service and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of CodeClimb shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts sitting in Kampala, Uganda.

We may periodically revise these terms to reflect changes in payment regulations, platform features, or legal requirements. Material updates will be communicated through your registered student email or via a prominent announcement on the student dashboard. Continued usage following notification constitutes acceptance.
